Allen Tate Company, the Carolinas’ leading real estate company, has named Teri Ainsworth as branch leader of the company’s Cary-Searstone office at 5015 Winston Hill Drive in Cary.
In her new role, Ainsworth will train, manage and mentor more than 35 agents and staff.
An award-winning Realtor® with more than 22 years of experience, Ainsworth has held positions as sales agent, team sales leader, assistant managing broker and managing broker for several national franchise real estate companies. She has also worked as division sales manager for a new homes company in Raleigh.
She holds the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Accredited Buyer Representative Management (ABRM) designations and is a Buffini Certified Mentor.
Prior to her real estate career, she was vice president of marketing and sales for a design firm. She studied special education at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama and marketing at Clayton State University in Jonesboro, Ga.
An active industry and community volunteer, Ainsworth has held various positions on local real estate boards, and is currently a member of the Raleigh Association of Realtors, where she serves on the Community Service Committee.
She has served as a director, coach and volunteer for the Sunshine League in Georgia, a baseball league especially for children with physical and intellectual disabilities, and is currently a coach for the Miracle League in Cary. She has also completed the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk (60 miles) in Atlanta, Denver and Minneapolis.

A native of Rockford, Ill., Ainsworth resides in Apex. She enjoys boating, hiking, kayaking, reading and spending time with her daughter, son-in-law and baby granddaughter.
