Allen Tate Company, the Carolinas’ leading real estate company, has named Mark McClain as sales manager of the company’s Providence@485 office at 10851 Providence Road in Charlotte and its New Town Road office at 1532 Providence Road South, Suite 230, in Waxhaw.
In his new role, McClain will help manage and train more than 75 Allen Tate agents and staff.
McClain is an award-winning career professional with 16 years of real estate experience. He joined the Allen Tate Company in 2010 and most recently worked as an agent in the company’s New Town Road office. He is a licensed broker and Realtor® in North Carolina, a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR). He also holds the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource professional designation (SFR).
Prior to joining Allen Tate, McClain worked as a sales manager for D. Ballard Homes and as customer service agent for US Airways. He holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Western Carolina University.
An active community member, McClain coordinates the children’s puppet ministry at Weddington United Methodist Church.

A native of Chicago, McClain and his wife, Joann, have been married for 25 years and reside in Waxhaw. They have two daughters, Caroline and Lacey. He enjoys snow skiing, running and travel.
