Tate Cares Giving Campaign Raises $110,000

In the spirit of generously giving back to the communities it serves, Allen Tate Realtors® and employees recently contributed more than $110,000 to local arts and cultural programs and United Way agencies through its Tate Cares giving campaign.

The combined campaign was a new approach for Allen Tate this year. The company had previously held a separate Cultural Campaign and United Way fund drive each year, as well as an annual FUNDay event. Tate Cares represents this combined giving umbrella. FUNDay – a “day of play” to raise money for public education – will continue to be held in early October. 

“We moved to a combined approach to give our agents and employees the opportunity to make an annual giving commitment. What our campaign results show is that our team embraced this opportunity, and contributed even more generously than they had with two separate campaigns,” said Pat Riley, Allen Tate Company president and chief operating officer.

Kim Overman, branch leader for the Allen Tate Steele Creek office in Charlotte, and Sandra O’Connor, branch leader for the Allen Tate Green Valley office in Greensboro, served as co-chairs for the Tate Cares campaign.
