CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 13, 2013) – Public education has always been a core component of the Allen Tate Company’s charitable giving initiatives. Recently, the company reached out to support public school students in the Wake Forest, N.C., area through the local Trentini Foundation.
Allen Tate was a table sponsor at the Foundation’s Casino Night Fundraiser, held February 23 at the Mill Room at The Factory in Wake Forest. The event raised funds to promote and reward excellence in public, non-charter high schools in Wake Forest through scholarship and education grant programs.
The Trentini Foundation was founded more than 30 years ago to honor Anthony J. Trentini, a teacher and coach who influenced a generation of young people in Wake Forest, who died suddenly at age 45. Since its inception, the scholarships awarded annually to deserving students at Wake Forest-Rolesville High School have increased from $500 to $36,000 annually, including the highly prestigious Trentini Scholoarship of $30,000.
“We are honored to be able to support this outstanding organization with money raised by Wake Forest-Rolesville agents through the annual Allen Tate Company FUNDay for public education. Our agents have chosen to support this organization because they feel it makes a significant impact,” said Phyllis Brookshire, senior vice president, Allen Tate Realtors.®
