CHARLOTTE, N.C. (February 8, 2011) – In the spirit of generously giving back to the communities it serves, Allen Tate Company recently kicked off its annual Cultural Campaign.
This year’s theme “Leave an Impression” reflects the company’s commitment to make a difference in the quality of life of individuals across the Allen Tate footprint in North and South Carolina.
The Allen Tate Cultural Campaign began in the early 1990’s as support for the Arts and Science Council in Charlotte and has grown to a program that now supports 20 local arts and cultural organizations throughout the Carolinas.
“Our Realtors and employees understand that their support of arts and cultural organizations help drive the region’s economic engine,” said Pat Riley, president and chief operating officer, Allen Tate Company. “Rich cultural experiences and exceptional education attract new businesses. Businesses create jobs, and employed individuals buy homes and help the economy grow.”
In 2010, Allen Tate Realtors and employees contributed $50,000 to local arts and cultural organizations through the company’s annual Cultural Campaign.
“Our Cultural Campaign is one leg of the Allen Tate three-legged school of giving,” said Riley. “Along with United Way and our annual FUNday to benefit public education, we’re proud of our purposeful dedication to community service.”
The Allen Tate Cultural Campaign concludes March 1.
